Who we are and why we worship as we do...
If you are visiting for the first time, or if you are unfamiliar with our form of worship, we’d like to explain why we do what we do. We want you to enjoy your time in our fellowship. Here are some ways and reasons we respond in worship to our Lord.
We Worship in Spirit and In Truth: “The hour comes, and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth; for the Father seeks such to worship Him.” John 4:23
There is Beauty of Holiness: "Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!" 1 Chronicles 16:28-30
Praise is Important: The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.” Exodus 15:2; “God inhabits the praises of His people.” Psalm 22:3
Lifting of Hands: “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord” Psalm 134:2
Standing to Praise: “Stand up and bless the Lord your God” Nehemiah 9:5; “Bless the Lord, All you servants of the Lord, Who by night stand in the house of the Lord!” Psalm 134
Clapping Hands: “Clap your hands all you people, shout onto God with a voice of triumph.” Psalm 47: 1
Praise with musical instruments and with dance: “Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet, praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the tumbrels and dance, praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals, praise Him with clashing cymbals!” Psalm 150: 3-5
Praise God by singing: Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! Psalm 47:6
Worship God by giving offerings: “Honor the Lord with your substance and the first fruits of your increase.” Proverbs 3:9
What We Believe
Take a look... This "Statement of Fundamental Truths" contains the 16 doctrines of the Assemblies of God. These are non-negotiable tenets of faith that all Assemblies of God churches adhere to. Four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ are considered Cardinal Doctrines which are essential to the church's core mission of reaching the world for Christ.
